TRINDGROUP’s internship program has been in place for over a decade. Our team greatly values the opportunity to give up-and-coming PR, marketing and design professionals hands-on experience in an agency setting.

If you’re ready to learn, we’re eager to teach!

TRINDGROUP focuses on niche business-to-business (B2B) industries including marine, oil and gas, aquaculture, engineering, manufacturing, water and wastewater. As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to industries and clients that you never would have otherwise. You’ll also be working with knowledgeable, welcoming people who are happy to help you hone your skills.

PR/Marketing Internships

From traditional public relations to digital marketing and beyond, you’ll gain a variety of client experience across all forms of strategic communication.

Graphic Design Internship

Whether you’re looking to gain real-world design experience, learn new software or solidify your skills, TRINDGROUP will expand your knowledge and portfolio.

Public Relations/Marketing Interns Should Be:

  • Confident in writing skills
  • Experienced with AP style
  • Knowledgeable of basic social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive Suite

Ideal majors include public relations, journalism, communication and marketing – but all majors are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan content calendars
  • Write social media content
  • Write newsletter content
  • Write press releases and pitches
  • Research
  • Data collection
  • Brainstorm campaign concepts
  • General client and account team support

Graphic Design Interns Should Be:

  • Proficient in concept development
  • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent in their craftsmanship
  • Interested in both print and digital design

Responsibilities:

  • Social media graphics using Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Logo and collateral material design for print and web
  • Email marketing design
  • Update and maintain client websites using WordPress
  • Potential video and photo editing opportunities
  • General client and design team support
