This April, TRINDGROUP earned awards from the Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) for the two submissions we entered, making us one of the few B2B companies to be awarded in a predominately B2C competition. Alabama is full of amazing talent, so receiving awards for all of the work we submitted was a great honor.

The Public Relations Council of Alabama is a community focused on developing both current and future practitioners through effective member action and strong volunteer leadership. They focus on being an information resource for members and promoting the professional and ethical practice of PR.

At TRINDGROUP, our team is constantly working to ensure our clients are able to share their work with the world, from online with website creations to in-person at trade shows and conventions. We are proud of all the goals we help our clients accomplish, and we are honored to be recognized on their behalf.

The PRCA receives submissions from all over the state of Alabama, ranging in categories of strategic programs, strategic plans and tactical materials and projects. The awards competition allows all PRCA members the chance to showcase their work and receive feedback that can foster continuous improvement. Submissions are evaluated based on research and situation analysis, planning, implementation, evaluation and creativity. The highest tiers of awards are Medallion awards, followed by Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit. TRINDGROUP is honored to receive a Medallion Award and an Award of Merit.

Silver Ships Demonstration Boat Campaign – Medallion Award

Silver Ships produces high-quality aluminum boats for military, federal, state and municipal governments as well as commercial applications through collaboration with highly skilled design, engineering and production resources. As part of a strategic plan to help Silver Ships showcase their capabilities and craftsmanship, TRINDGROUP created a campaign to incorporate Silver Ships’ vendors with a demonstration boat to bring to trade shows for potential customers to test, and a public relations and marketing plan was developed by TRINDGROUP to grow audience interest and support efforts in selling the vessel. Color Theory – Award of Merit

The Color Theory line of combination potted flowers partnered with Lowe’s as an environmentally friendly live-plant program geared toward millennial, or Generation Y, shoppers. TRINDGROUP guided the launch of the Color Theory product line from the beginning stages with logo and accompanying design development to a custom website build, which completed the launch. TRINDGROUP’s focus on consumer habits and enhanced detail helped the Color Theory stand out against the competition and speak to their audience on a deeper level.
